Yorkshire pottery ram standing with a weary looking diminutive scale shepherd boy or gardener( he is holding a spade at his side). The crook is rather comically resting against the front leg of the ram.
An amusing feature is the figure of a lamb or possibly a dog which is lying recumbant under the ram .The figures are modelled on a green washed and sponge decorated base which is a typical and unique feature of the Yorkshire potteries.
