Late 18th century Staffordshire Pottery Sailor Toby Jug attributed to the "Wood" Family of potters.
The figure is exceptionally and comprehensively decorated in well applied underglaze oxide colours.
The floral decoration on the handle and the anchor are attractive details on this quality piece.
