Staffordshire pottery figural pipe in pearlware

A rare and amusing Staffordshire pottery pipe in the form of a female figure wearing a top hat. The bowl of the pipe is modelled as a male head which adds a certain comical quality to the piece.
The early pottery pipe is very well modelled and the color decoration is exceptional.
