Staffordshire figure group in pearlware of a Dancing bear with Savoyard.
These figures are usually produced with a lion standing in the centre. This figure is quite unique as the figure at the centre is a costume dressed monkey.
It is these extra little features which enhance and add an extra dimension to our enjoyment of these wonderful figures fromn the early 19th century.
