A very fine and rare Staffordshire pottery bocage pearlware figure group.
This expressive group comprises of a cow with milk maid and a cow with calf, a young boy sits in the hollow of a tree and there are two geese at his feet. The figure is full of a romantic rural charm and modeled with attention to numerous decorative features.
