PINK LUSTER CERAMIC JUG SUNDERLAND POTTERY

A large Sunderland pottery ewer with a carrying grip under the spout decorated in typical pink splash luster as associated with several of the North East of England Potters in Newcastle on Tyne and especially Sunderland.
The jug is profusely decorated with underglaze transfer prints of nautical themes and verses which ae over painted with enamels.
