Antique English pearlware pottery Watch Holder.
This rare piece emanated from the Fell Pottery which was located in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East of England. The watch stand is enhanced with the figure of a rather tame looking lion. The quality of the body and the fine enamel colours make this a rather special piece of early 19th century pottery.The enamel colours and fine modelling are of the highest standard and the pink luster on the pillars are a further enhancement to this wonderful example from the English Potters.
