Pair of late 18th century Staffordshire pottery figures from the Ralph Wood Pottery which was located in Burslem.
The figures have been decorated with enamels and the modelling always of high quality from Ralph Wood makes a very elegant statement in ceramic.
The bases are marked impressed 9 and 8.
