An extremely rare and unique pair of Staffordshire pottery pearlware plaques in original period burrwood frames.
The plaques are hand painted with birds of prey perched on trees within rocky outcrops.
The condition of these plaques is exceptional with a wonderful naive feel and superb patination of the frames giving a pure period style.
These works of art on pottery have a timeless quality and they would take their place in a country or town house setting.
The plaques outside the frames measure 9.5 x 7.75 inches approx.
