A fine pearlware pottery bust of the Reverend John Wesley the inspirational preacher who helped found the Methodist movement. The bust is on a blue colours socled base which stands on the classic "table" shape associated with the master potter attributed as Obadiah Sherratt. The figure is decorated with respect and captures the divine aspect of the preacher.

Current Condition Restored at back leg, minor scuff mark on back of head.
