Highly decorative blue dash delftware charger with sublime painting in blue, green and ochre.
The image is of a central tulip surrounded by other tulips, carnations and seed pods amongst leaves which have an exceptional beauty.
The central image is enhanced by the ochre and fine blue concentric circles and blue dashes to the rim which frame the floral image perfectly.

Medium: delft delft ware period pottery earthenware ceramic tin glaze

Current Condition Some good restoration to fine hairline and loss of the tin glaze at the border rim.
