Antique English Staffordshire pottery figure Christ's Agony by Obadiah Sherratt.The plinth bears the legend "Father let this cup pass".There is a figure of an angel proferring the cup to Christ standing on top of the plinth. Sherratt was one of the foremost potters of his age and produced some of the finest figures and wares from his Staffordshire pottery.
