English slipware earthenware circular baking loaf dish early 19th century

A fine earthenware pottery circular shaped baking or loaf dish. The dish is strikingly decorated with three segments c in a creamy coloured slip with a fine quality lead glaze. The simplicity of design gives a very contemporary feel to the dish which would takes it place equally in a period or modernistic setting. The dish has the number 24 impressed into the base.
