A very rare London delftware pottery plate with a portrait of Admiral Rodney.
The figure is surrounded by a starburst and garland of flowers over his head and beneath in capitals the legend"ADMIRAL RODNEY FOR EVER". There is another Rodney piece of this type in an important private English collection and these two examples are the only ones known to exist.
