A rare English delftware recess tile or niche modeled with a domed top and a flat base and well decorated with a standing male figure in fine clothes. The border is decorated with berries and leaves. The piece is two delftware tiles high and one tile wide indicating that they were used as part of a wall feature. Attributed to the Bristol Delftworks mid 18th century.
