English baluster pottery mug slipware , antique period early 18th century

A good English early 18th century slipware earthenware mug with a loop handle. The mug is covered with a cream coloured slip with a brown glaze at the rim. The piece is very tactile and fits in the hand perfectly providing an earthy link to the past.
