Early pair of English lead glazed creamware tea canisters circa 1755-60 period

Dated: c. 1755 to 1765 Staffordshire English

A fine early and rare pair of relief decorated lead glazed creamware tea canisters.
The pair have a classical feel derived from the silver shape form with sloping shoulders and basket weave moulding. Similar pieces were also made at the time in saltglaze.
Probably Staffordshire England in the Whieldon, Greatbach style.
