A rare nursery plate with relief border with figures of dogs, leopards and monkey, the central image of three boys waving the Union Jack over a titled inscription " PLAYING AT CAE *****"(*indistinct). The canary yellow ground is vibrant brightly enhanced with pink luster and enamels.
The back of the plate is impressed with a Swansea Pottery workers mark which adds further proof along with the specific and unique border of the Welsh attribution.
