A fine antique figure of a rooster standing on a white mound base. The bird is wonderfully painted in colors associated with the Portobello Group of potters located a few miles from Edinburgh Scotland. The modeling and quality decoration capture the humor and spirit of the rooster in true folk art tradition. One of the best examples of its kind.
