A fine exceptionally realistic porcelain hound head stirrup cup .
The decoration captures perfectly the character of the dog and there is exceptional detail,especially around the eyes. The cup is the work of the Derby Porcelain works noted for their fine quality output and dates to the early 19th century England. One of the best examples of its type.
