Antique Staffordshire pottery bust of Reverend John Wesley the Methodist preacher.
The bust is from the pottery of Obadiah Sherratt in Staffordshire England and is modelled on the iconic Sherratt table base.
This is perhaps the rarest bust of Wesley produced by the Staffordshire potters.
