Antique period pottery plate depicting a figure of a military man brandishing a Sabre all strikingly and naively painted in pratt colours.This plate is true piece of folk art from the late 18th century.
A wonderful piece of art on a plate.
An unrecorded example and may possibly be a "one-off" specifically commissioned.
The reverse of the plate bears the initials in script MH.
