Antique English London delftware pottery tea caddy with images of a gentleman and his wife

A very fine quality English delftware tea canister produced in London circa 1735
This exceptional caddy is delicately and finely decorated in blue and white with stunning images of a gentleman and his wife in European attire who are individually represented on seperate panels.
The other panels are decorated with flowers and leaves in a trailing fashion and with well executed geometric patterns.
The canister is in very clean condition with only minor glaze losses at the canted corners.

Current Condition Fine historical condition with no restoration
