ANTIQUE 18TH CENTURY ENGLISH CREAMWARE ICE COOLER BY WEDGWOOD

Antique plain undecorated creamware ice pail cooler impressed in capitals WEDGWOOD.
The ice pail is totally complete with a liner,insert,and cover an almost unique factor.
The piece is of high quality, the usual scenario with the output from the famous Josiah Wedgwood pottery in Staffordshire. The cooler is modelled in a silver shape form and would date to the last quarter of the 18th century. Wedgwood is said to have invented the creamware glaze which he called "Queensware".
